Luminelle’s Collective IDentity exhibition, Who we are now… and then, toured around the country in 2021-2022, in venues across London including Hospitals, Libraries and Arts Centres (Bow, Poplar, Hackney, Whitechapel, Euston, Tooting, Wimbledon, Barnes). Our regional tour included The Point, Eastleigh, Lancashire Libraries and Colchester Library. After receiving further funding from Arts Council England, we were able to reignite the tour for the rest of 2022 and will be continuing throughout 2023.

So far, the artwork has been displayed in library venues in…

Yardley Wood in Birmingham – in partnership with People Dancing Live Well and Dance with Parkinson’s programme.

Keighley Library in Bradford – in collaboration with Ascendance and Yorkshire Dance.

Blackburn Central Library – in collaboration with LPM Dance.

Our workshops and insight events have provided people living with Parkinson’s in the local area an opportunity to join Luminelle in live dance sessions, a tour of the exhibition artwork, and a screening of a place we go together…, our award winning film which looks at core themes of intimacy, care, and relationship. “The film was the most connecting moment for me. Some of the words really resonated. This was the first group Parkinson’s activity I’ve been to, it wasn’t what I expected but I got a lot out of it”

“Thank you, I’ve loved this afternoon. There was a really beautiful vibe and it felt like we floated through”
