I AM eager to stretch and learn and grow
As the music curls its way into my room
Borne from afar to inspire the flow.

I CAN connect to the others who show
Through their screen-captured movements, quick and slow,
In response to our teacher, together we know
What it takes to occupy space with grace.

I HOLD a bubble of joy in this place.

WE CAN, as dancers, raise our eyes
and take our bodies by surprise.
WE HAVE swept reticence away.
Our eloquent movements have something to say.

WE SHARE the thrill of another day
To live, to laugh, to move, to dance and sway.
