Heart Task Response

Apparently, two identical pendulums, placed close together and started at different times will gradually synchronise their oscillations until they become identical.

This phenomenon, known as entrainment, has a particular relevance to people with PD.

From Pam Quinn’s PD Movement Lab I learned that if I’m struggling with walking, to follow someone walking at a suitable speed and my stride will lock in with theirs.

I wonder if two people stay close enough for long enough their hearts will beat together. It’s a beguiling notion about love and connection.
Romance meets science.

Maybe.
