Danielle Teale Dance is looking for up to three, enthusiastic, creative, thoughtful dance artists to work alongside Artistic Director Danielle Teale and Collaborating Artists during the expansion of a multi-stranded national dance programme working with people with Parkinson’s; Collective IDentity (CID). 

2021 saw a rapid expansion of Teale’s dancing with Parkinson’s programme, including the London based, Dancing with Parkinson’s Company at Poplar Union and three programmes in Essex, Hampshire and Lancashire, funded by Arts Council England. In 2022 Teale will be working in partnership with new organisations, hospitals and libraries to continue this ambitious artistic project. The role of mentee supporting dance artists on the project will be vital in the growth of the programme, bringing the DTD artistic process to new communities and shaping the approach of the dance community and cultural organisations involved. 

We are looking for up to three individuals with an interest in developing their skills in this practice, with a vision for high quality artistic approaches within health settings, and with inclusive practice at the heart of their work. The role will be offered on a freelance basis for an initial period of 10 weeks with potential to develop beyond this first phase.
