This year I am working collaboratively with visual artist Sara Hibbert (part of the Altai collective) on a project exploring the ideas of collectivity and intimacy and how these themes influence and affect the dance space.
As part of this project I am holding an open dance workshop for dancers with Parkinson’s and their guests at the Royal College of Art in Battersea. This workshop forms part of the R&D for our project. We are interested in how the public space at RCA alters our perception or connection with the collective and our ability to tap into the intimate space.
